07 Toyota Tundra 4.7l Starter Location

I won t crank just.

07 toyota tundra 4.7l starter location. Near where the moter meets the trani - you will see the flywheel a big round gear the starter connects to the flywheel to turn the motor. I found on the earlier models 47 is under the intake but nothing confirmed on the 07 47. My 2008 Toyota Tundra 57L SR5 TRD has some bad i guess wheel bearing noise coming from the rear of the truck.

Disconnect wires from starter. On the 57L Tundra the starter is located under the vehicle not under the intake. I searched the forums also mines not bad yet just trying to get educated on the subject.

You can turn the key and will get a single click but nothing else. Took it to the shop and they replaced the starter relay and it worked fine for a week then it started doing it again. Toyota tundra starter 4 50.

Discussion Starter 7 Dec 30 2011 OK- now I have the answer- the starter location on the 57L is on the bottom of the motor on the passenger side the 47L is under the intake- Had to send mine to the dealership because nobody had a starter and even they had to order it. I know this because I am currently having fun with an 07 57L starter. 5w-30 is right oil type for 47L.

Starter Located Under Intake Manifold - Recommend Referencing Service. On previous models yes it was under the intake but that was with the 47L.
