2001 Toyota Tundra Will Not Start
Have replaced battery and starter relay.
2001 toyota tundra will not start. Recently replaced the starter. Have partial internal electrical when switch is on but no cluster lights. Have a problem toyota tundra 2000 wont startbattery new and not deadstarter trying to turn overit ran last nightthis morning nothingany suggestions to trouble shoot.
Turn the key to start hear the fuel pump go the starter relay clicks but nothing happens. The engine cranks but will not fire. Push in valet button light should stay on car should start and run.
I had a basic key cut for keeping in case I needed another key made and lost all my master keys and it can unlock the front door. Choose one of the RF kits above. Start your Tundra and verify that the light is off.
Before I replaced the starter what was happening was I would turn the key to start nothing would happen for a second or so then the starter would engage. Have put a tester on it but wont connect to link and give any reading at all. The truck has been running great no problems at all.
If your Tundra wont start be happy if you see the check engine light. I am still not sure what the problem was that caused it to stop running to. 2001 toyota tundra stalls when put in gear.
When I press the 4x4 button I can hear it start to work but then it stops. I have a 01 toyota tundra sr5 4x4 wv8 and it runs like a dream but at times when try to crank it just cranks over over and no start for 15-25 seconds spits back sometimes and then cranks up and runs perfectly. While there are a variety of reasons your Toyota Tundra wont start the most common 3 are a dead battery an alternator problem or failed starter.
