Toyota tundra shifter loose. Three problems related to automatic transmission column shift have been reported for the 2001 Toyota Tundra. 2000 Toyota Tundra Shifter Problem. Please let me know what you find and if you have any other questions good luck.

If you really want it to stay in place unscrew it and put blue loctite on the threads on the shifting arm before screwing it back on.
